FAQ'S

Why is it called In The Park?

In The Park is founded on the belief that travel is about personal growth, building connections, and making a positive Impact on the world, just like parks that connect people across various parts of the globe.

How do you select the volunteer projects and organizations that travelers can participate in?

Our female founder, Cherie, personally visits each destination to establish connections with trusted locals, ensuring that all travel experiences are safe and secure. We prioritize projects that promote sustainable development, cultural exchange, and skills-based volunteering.

What is the minimum age requirement to join In the Park?

Our experiences are open to travelers aged 18 and above. For travelers under the age of 18, we require written consent from a parent or legal guardian and they must be accompanied by an adult. Additionally, some volunteer projects or cultural experiences may have specific age requirements, so please check the individual experience descriptions for more information.

Do I need to have any prior experience or skills to participate in the volunteer projects?

While some projects may require specific skills or experience, many of our volunteer opportunities are open to travelers with a wide range of backgrounds and abilities. We provide pre-trip training and orientation sessions to ensure that all participants are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills for their specific project.

Are there any language requirements for participating in the experiences?

While speaking the local language can certainly enhance your experience, it is not a requirement for participation. Our team members and local partners are proficient in English and will be able to guide and support you throughout your experience.
